I shoot on film, in your home or a place that feels like you, at your pace. Sessions are relaxed and unhurried, with gentle direction when you need it and plenty of room to simply be together.

I work with families throughout Mendham, Bernardsville, Far Hills, Morristown, Basking Ridge and the surrounding Northern New Jersey area, creating photographs that feel refined yet unforced, embracing natural movement, softness, and the occasional imperfection that reflects how these moments actually felt in real time. The result is a collection of honest, beautiful images meant to live with your family for years.

Family Sessions

A relaxed, unhurried session photographed entirely on film, with a private online gallery and high-resolution downloads of your final photographs. You'll also receive a small linen-bound folio featuring a photographer-selected collection of images from your session.

Everything is included from the start, so there are no packages to purchase after your session.

Behind the Lens

Lauren Miles has been making photographs since her first darkroom class in high school — and she never really stopped. Based in Mendham, New Jersey, she shoots exclusively on film, drawn to its glow, its nostalgia, and its sense of permanence. Working with a Rolleiflex that predates her by decades, she photographs families with a quiet, documentary approach — images made to be passed down, not scrolled past.
